You asked, we listened: Being the smallest member of the Sandstorm 3 family, the 3S is made for the narrow tanks of hard enduros and for taking the few items you need on a day trip with your adventure bike: Sandstorm 3S Tankbag

waterproof

Waterproof 3-layer fabric, a zipper covered on the backside and an all welded design: The main compartment is 100% waterproof. You don't need any rain cover and there is no inner bag you additionally need to open.
The side pockets are protected by water repellent zippers.

Continuously adjustable volume

Thanks to our patented Expandable Volume Technology, the tankbag's volume is continuously adjustable:

Sandstorm 3E: 13-20 liter
Sandstorm 3S: 7-12 liter

EXPANDABLE VOLUME TECHNOLOGY

Thanks to our patented Expandable Volume Technology, the tankbag's volume is continuously adjustable between 7 and 12 liter. To expand the enduro tank bag, simply release the four velcro straps and pull the outer part upwards. To reduce the volume, simply pull the straps until the required volume is reached. In our opinion, a simple and very comfortable solution. The side walls are stiffened and a waterproof membrane between the sliding parts avoids the intrusion of water and dust.

German "Motorradfahrer" has honored our Sandstorm 2E with a recommendation. Thanks a lot! "Test of waterproofness: Passed. Rating: The most impressing feature of this model is the two-walled design, which allows to telescopically expand the volume - and of course the fact that also the connection between those two walls is absolutely watertight. With up to 20 liter volume a perfect travel companion, peppered with practical details like the extra-large map pocket. Thanks to its slightly declined shape and the universal mounting system, the "Sandstorm" can be used for many bikes beyond the enduro range. Workmanship: Very good. Conclusion: Topnotch outfitted, tough design with ready-to-travel volume and firm fixation."

Motorrad News has tested tankbags for the BMW R 1200 GS. Although Sandstorm 2E is not specially made for humped tanks, Motorrad News awards us 16 points, just one point less than the test winner: "Handy, tough and tidy built tankbag with impeccable workmanship. Volume adjustable, completely waterproof and also available in a smaller version for hard enduros."

2 Räder from Gremany has tested our tankbags and rated them "very good": "Tankbags for dirtbikes must have a tough seat even under hard riding conditions. Sandstorm 1 showed an excellent performance over more than 6'000 testing kilometers. Although the manufacturer abstains from a rain cover not even hours of rain couldn't harm. Material and zippers are very tough, the removable map pocket has a practical large size."

"The possibility, to adjust the volume continuously as well as the rock-solid mount by the use of quick-lock straps called ROKstraps gets rid of the two worst annoyances during adventure travels off the road: Baggy or overloaded tankbags, which suddenly hang at the side of the tank on the beaten track.
